Anjali Moghe Anjali Moghe casts shadows of her positive and vibrant mind with gouache on handmade paper essentially through her Australian Aboriginal dot art. Although based in Pune, Moghe leads a rather nomadic life, always on the move traveling extensively all over with her art tools always at hand. Art for her balances the morose and suffering in the real world through aesthetic happy imagery. She has great respect for all art which evokes soothing pleasure to the tired and perplexed mind. Throughout her journey as an artist she has always been dismissive of the 'typical' attitude in this society that the Science are for intelligent students and the Arts are for 'dumbos'. As the founder of the gallery, her present hope for us is that we succeed in fostering 'gallery culture' amoung the middle classes. That is to say that, we bring about art awareness amoungst the common man who one day will prefer to buy a cheap original over a copy-poster . She also supports a change in the lack of political will in this society, wherein Art Investment will achieve government support. Moghe considers coping with the fast growing relation of Art and Technology as one of the prime challenges the gallery must survive.
