A passionate Bangla, residing on the outskirts of Pune City, he expresses himself mainly through ink on tinted-handmade paper among other mixed mediums. Dibakar also engages with art installations and hopes to extend his scope in the future, through video as an artistic tool. His quest is for real peace and aesthetic nurture, which he is unable to find in this society.

His works mirror the mind of a contemporary youth, struggling in a chaotic society, that blindly heads towards global power. The battle between self-expression and the socio-economical quest of his surroundings, penetrates Dibakar's strokes.

Impressed largely by linear quality in artworks, his representations translate through reactionary lines which have become a habitual relief for him.

His primary struggle is not to turn into yet another product in this growing capitalist economy. Dibakar survives holding onto his beliefs and no-compromise attitude.
