a stitch in time

chaotic outflowing
of cotton buds
carrying the seeds
marking a time
random outpourings
of hidden fabric
frayed in the middle
systematic twirling
on the spinning wheel
to the weaver's loom
another milestone
warp and weft
love and hate
a time of peace and
a time of war
nipped in the bud
this would never have been
