Whenever a 'representation' is figurative and realistic, it suggests a narration. my paintings are a collection of incidents, stories from our everyday experiences. these are narrations in certain space and time. i like to imagine religious figures in the people whom i meet, and draw an area of the mystical experience that the space must have evoked. the figures of kali and jesus are evoked out of these mystical experiences. i like to use bright colours and tight spaces just like in a certain space meaning is created by the figures moving within it.
